1. NCCC RTTY NA Sprint Practice. 0130-0159Z Friday (Thurs night
local). 20, 40, 80M RTTY. 100W maximum power. One kHz QSY rule. No
same band dupes. Exchange: both calls, #, name, SPC. Look around 080 kHz.
2. 80M QRP Fox Hunt. 0200-0330Z Friday (Thurs night local). 3550 to
3570. 5W maximum power. Exchange: RST, SPC, name, Power. Work only
the two foxes. No spotting allowed. Foxes this week are KV2X, TOM, NY
and KT5E, JAY, CO.
3. NCCC CW NA Sprint Practice (NS). 0230-0259Z Friday (Thurs night
local). 20, 40, 80, 160M CW. 100W maximum power One kHz QSY rule.
Exchange: both calls, #, name, SPC. Look around 040 kHz and 1810 kHz.
4. Worked All Europe DX Contest, RTTY. 48 hours of weekend UCT. SO
limited to 36 hours with one hour minimum off time. 80-10M RTTY.
Exchange: RST + serial #. Work everyone, not just Europe. You can
exchange (send and receive) QTCs only with stations on another
continent, limited to a total of 10 QTCs with each other station on
another continent.
5. 10-10 International Fall Contest, Digital. 48 hours of weekend UTC.
10 meters digital. Exchange: Name + 10-10 number + SPC. If you
don't have a 10-10 number send a zero instead.
6. Japan International DX Contest, Phone. 80-10M SSB. 07Z Sat to 13Z
Sun. Exchange: RS + CQ Zone or Japan Prefecture #. Work only
Japanese stations.
7. Straight Key Century Club Weekend Sprintathon (WES). 12Z Sat to 24Z
Sun (24 hrs maximum). 160-10M CW. Use a mechanical key. Exchange:
RST + SPC + Name + SKCC# or "NONE." Any uniformed service verteran puts
a slant bar and a number after his name. For example: JOHN/V6. If you
were never in a military put "/C" for civilian after your name. Bonus
points for working Veterans. This is in honor of veterans for Veterans'
Day, which is Monday.
8. OK/OM DX Contest, CW. 12Z Sat to 12Z Sun. 160-10M CW. Exchange:
RST + serial # or 3 District OK/OM Code (list in rules).
9. CQ Western Electric Contest (WE). 19-23Z Sat (CW/Dig); 01-05Z Sun
(Phone). 19-23Z Sun (Phone); 01-05Z Mon (CW/Dig). 160M - 432 mHz, CW,
Ph, Digital. Exchange: Name + location code (see rules) + years of
service to Bell system. If no service to Ma Bell, send # of WE contests
for which you have submitted a score (this number is between 1 and 7, so
I guess you would send "1" if this is your first year. Non Bell System
ops send for location code "ZZ."
10. EANET Sprint. 08-12Z Sunday. All bands and modes. Exchange
RS(T). Work everyone.
11. Tuesday 40M QRP Fox Hunt. Same as 80M on Thursday except the
frequencies are between 7030 and 7050 kHz. The two foxes are scheduled
to be K4FB PAUL FL and W9CF KEVIN AZ.
12. CWOps Club Mini Tests. Three separate one hour tests on Wednesday
local date. 13Z, 19Z, and 03Z (Thursday). Exchange: Name + CWOps # or
SPC. Look around 028 kHz. The 03Z session is now local time 10 to 11
PM EST and may be more attractive than when it was an hour later when we
were on EDT.
