1. NCCC NS CW Sprint Practice. No announcement on this yet, but they
will be running every week until the next Ladder series starts in early
January. I'll forward to the reflectors an announcement later this week
when I have receive it. Here are what will be the rules for most weeks.
0230-0259Z Fri (Thurs night local). 20, 40, 80, 160M CW. 100W
maximum power. One kHz QSY rule. Exchange: both calls, #, name, SPC.
look around 040 kHz on each band.
2. NCCC RTTY Sprint Practice. 0130-0159Z Friday (Thurs night local).
20, 40, 80M RTTY. 100W maximum power. One kHz QSY rule. Exchange:
both calls, #, name, SPC. Look around 080 kHz. I will forward any
official announcement on this when I receive it.
3. JARTS WW RTTY Contest. 48 hours of weekend UTC. 80-10M RTTY.
Exchange: RST + Age.
4. 10-10 International Club Fall Contest, CW. 48 hours of weekend UTC.
10M CW. Exchange: Name + 10-10# (or "0") + SPC.
5. Iowa QSO Party. 14-23Z Sat. All bands except WARC & 60M. CW/Dig,
Phone. Maximum power 125W. Exchange: RS(T) + S/P/DX or IA county.
Bonus points for one QSO with WA0DX. Also bonus points of 100 per JOTA
QSO up to a maximum of five. (This is the Boy Scouts Jamboree on the
Air.)
6. New York QSO Party. 14Z Sat to 02Z Sun. All bands except WARC &
60M. CW,, Phone, RTTY. Exchanbe: RS(T) + S/P/DX or NY County.
7. DARC Worked All Germany Contest. 15Z Sat to 1459Z Sun. 80-10M CW,
SSB. Exchange: RS(T) + serial # for non German stations. German
stations who are member of DARC send RS(T) + DOK (typically one letter
and two numbers, such as Q03, M15, Z60, but some special DOKs won't
follow that rule. Germany who are not members of DARC send RS(T) + "NM"
for non member. Note: No contest QSOs may be made: Above 3560 kHz on
CW. Below 3650 kHz on SSB. Above 7040 kHz on CW. Above 7140 kHz on
SSB. Above 14060 kHz on CW. Above 14280 kHz on SSB. Above 21360 kHz
on SSB. Above 28400 kHz on SSB.
8. Stew Perry Top Band Challenge Warm Up. 15Z Sat to 15Z Sun. 14 hours
maximum operating time. 160M CW. Exchange: 4 character grid square
(such as EM72).
9. W/VE Islands QSO Party. 16Z Sat to 2359Z Sun. 160-6M, CW, Phone,
Digital. Exchange: RS(T) + SPC or USI/CISA island designator. Most of
the activity in this one is on SSB.
10. Asia-Pacific Fall Sprint, CW. 0000-0200Z Sun (Sat night local).
15, 20M CW. One kHz QSY rule. Work only A-P area stations. Stations
outside A-P may run full legal power.
11. Illinois QSO Party. 1700Z Sun to 0100Z Mon. 160-2M. CW/Dig,
Phone. Exchange: RS(T) + SPC or Illinois County. There is always a
lot of activity in this one and mamy will be on couny lines and give you
up to four counties.
12. Flying Pigs QRP Club October Run for the Bacon. 0100-0300Z Monday
(Sunday night local). 160-10M CW. 5W maximum power. Exchange: RST +
SPC + FP# or power.
13. North American QRP CW Club October Europe Sprint. 1800-2000Z
Monday. 80-20M CW. 5W maximum power. Exchange: RST + country +
NAQCC# or power. Look around 14060 kHz.
14. Straight Key Century Club October Sprint (SKS). 00-02Z Wed
(Tuesday night local). 160-10M CW. Use mechanical key. Exchange: RST
+ Name + SPC + SKCC# or power.
15. CWOps Club CWT Mini Tests. Three separate one hour tests on
Wednesday our local date. 1300Z, 1900Z, and 0300Z (Thursday UTC).
160-10M CW. Exchange: Name + CWOps# or SPC. Look around 028 kHz on
each band.
