Well day 1 was a complete epic fail. The noise level for me was 7+ all day
In Harris county. I managed to get a whopping 19 qso's and three of them was
PSK31.
today is another day. I am moving up the road 6 miles to the top of the
mountain. Will be at a picnic camp area and a scenic look out point so the
elevation is really high. Yesterday I was in a valley with a vertical.
In scoping it out I noticed a flag pole without a flag. So I am going to run
up a OCF and tie down an inverted V. Hopefully park rangers will not bust me
and and yell. LOL. Gotta do what I gotta do !
Good luck today.
73, Ricky K4JTT
From Harris county.
