Clemson is quite close to TN.. I couldn't hear any TN stations at all on 40m (or 20m) in the first 30 minutes of the contest, not on the beams nor the low dipoles. I gave up and decided to try 80m after dinner but I got a call from a friend of mine who wanted me to help him with some physics homework, so in the end, I didn't even get a single QSO in the contest.. The only Tennesseans I saw this weekend were of the middle variety that Clemson beat up on in football Saturday night. :) 73 de Greg N3ZL |
