I'm looking forward to seeing everyone who can make it to Rick's on
Saturday. I was there today - just seeing the monster 80M yagi is worth
the trip!
A few reminders:
- please bring lawn chairs.
- please bring a dessert or side dish to share. The basics including
hamburgers, hot dogs, the fixins, soft drinks, ice, plates, etc will be
provided (currently by Rick, Hal and K4BAI - if anyone would like the
honor of throwing a dollar or two into the hat to help with this, please
see one of us at the picnic or send me an email).
- If you wish to eat or drink something beyond what's being provided
please feel free to bring it.
- Those who can pass the physical may get a shot at some volley ball.
I'm bringing a bocce ball set for those who wish to take up the fine art
of lawn bowling amongst the guy wires.
- The weather forecast is cool and sunny - perfect.
- I'd like to ask anyone who has not responded to the evite, or
responded "TBD" to respond or let me know if you are coming. A good
count will be a big help at this point.
