I'll catch Jeff's comments through Bill's post....

No disrespect for KU8E, but that's the way it was when you arrived.

Well, I mentioned that I didn't think we needed the 2 contest / year
rule, but I think it exists. We can get rid of it...that would be
great.

We've always done that to some degree. Like I said, post the ra-ra
on the reflector. For instance, K4NO has always been great at
putting together NA teams. Bill did the Sprint teams...here in SECC
first, later expanded to include the whole SE part of the
country....of course that was done mainly to help his own score! ;-)

And is done now - didn't someone make a post inviting SECCers to FD
this past June? I already had other plans, so I didn't pay a lot of
attention. Social meetings? I know Jeff used to try to get folks
together through the reflector before he moved down here but was
visiting his in-laws.
If that's what you want, to quote a famous advertising slogan: Just
Do It!

Yep, you were right in line with what we already have.

If that's what someone wants, then *they* need to grab the ball and
run. I'm not going to do anything, because I have a place to put my
scores, and that's all I'm interested. in.
