Hello all...its only a couple days till the cqww...we are installing the
20m 5/5 stack today and re-installing the 5/5/5/5 10m stacks also...working
on thr TIC ring rotor for the 20m 5 el...lost one of the motors....but all
in all we are almost ready....operators are shaping up nicely...have Dan
W0CN helping man the 15m station...we are setting some goals...currently we
have the 4th call m-m record...now its time to set our sights on K9NS...we
want to move from 9th place to 6th place...I think its doable....if we have
some good condx on the high bands and its quiet on the low bands...we will
be ready.....those coming if you have a sleeping bag, bring it along...we
have 4 spare beds and with the sleeping bags will have it completely
covered...rigs look like this : 10m ft-1000mp(K4BAI) and Alpha 78,
15m FT-1000mp and Alpha 77, 20m FT-1000mp and Alpha 77, 40m FT-1000mp(NE4S)
and Alpha 78,
80m TS-850s and Alpha 87a, and 160m TS930s and Alpha 78...will have back-up
TL-922(W4DD) and back up TS-850S (W4DD).....we will have voice keyers at
every station...that should help too...if you have a Heil boom headset,
bring it along too....we are a little short in this area...more details in
