This topic interests me as I enjoy RTTY contesting and DXing and I am
considering buying an amp.
I have narrowed my choices to the Elecraft KPA500/KAT500 duo or the SPE
Expert 1K-FA. The advantage I see to the Elecraft duo is that it is two
separate pieces so if one fails, I can take the failed device off-line and
find a way to carry on with the other. The advantage I see to the SPE Expert
is its ability to handle two radios and four antennas. Decisions, decisions.
I've been watching this thread with great interest.
