For contests where the exchange remains constant
eg. 599 VT 599 ON etc, you can program them
using the memory buttons 1 - 4
The only problem is the RTTY takes forever flipping back to RX
This tail can be shortened by adding an ..-- at the end of each
memory message.
The messages are stored by using your keyer on cw , and then they
will reproduce on RTTY mode.
Its in the K3 manual.

Everybody has to start somewhere, so we can only hope that newcomers
using the K3/K3S/KX3 quickly realise that direct paddle/keyboard input
is not the best way to enjoy RTTY contesting.
The main point is to remind those Elecraft users that they *already* own
a world-class radio for RTTY contesting. All that's missing is to
realize its full potential, so if they come back next time with a
computer hooked up and well-configured RTTY and contesting software,
they're going to have a lot more fun!
