Hector,
An explanation why your correspondents have logged sequential numbers of past
QSOs is simple. For sure you were running, you can verify it by checking your
log. Then, during your run you had quite a pile-up. Calling you time by time,
the callers have started by putting serial numbers you have sent to somebody
else into the respective window of their logger. But when one of them has
finally worked you, he simply forgot to apply a respective increment (Ctr-U in
N1MM) so that the number in the window matches the number you have sent to this
particular caller.
But the explanation is just an explanation. I am afraid, not much you can do to
prevent this problem. The only suggestion is to make the overall exchange
shortest possible so that you can work faster and the pile-up does not build
up. Obviously when there is no permanent pile-up and you work just station by
station, your callers will only copy serial numbers sent to them, and them only.

Jamie
Like you after saw HI3TEJ score I was in the idea to be in the 2nd or 3rd
place in the cat, in advance I know that win will be very unlikely from my
location and the predominance of good Stations from the Caribbean like Teddy
HI3TEJ , I was focus to make a new Mexican record for this category, I
found in my LCR that lost 3 mult one of the is HI3TEJ by NIL, the 2 others my
error in the call or exchange.
I remember calling him in my S&P and get my report 1101, my first QSO in
that band change My score reduction was the highest from the 4 RU
participation , 5.2% I have this notes, maybe some one can give me a light
from his perspective
in the ---Stations Copying Your Exchange Incorrectly-- this time 23 , 6 copy
the sequential number from the past QSO
checking the others LCR show similar numbers in that area, my idea is that I
can be the cause of that when
get no answer from "list" of calls received and pass to the next or maybe in
the TU NOW --
the good thing was that 1 one station copy my call incorrectly from an
average of 3-7 in the past
Any light to get the idea what happen will be appreciated, the idea always
is to improve

So it sounds like my score reduction of 2.2% fits in with the “norm”, with the
usual mix of NIL and mis-copied exchanges, etc.....I came in second in the DX
low power category, but was surprised to see a big drop from one of the top
competitors....HI3TEJ posted a claimed score of 170982 (first place) but after
log checking came in third at 145936, that’s a fairly significant drop, wonder
what happened there?
