Hello,
For some reason, both my sound cards are not recognizing the line in
audio. Two sound cards have been tried and two radios with neither
combination showing the normal noise display on the spectrum or waterfall
display. The line in is selected. volume control set to max., and right -
left stereo selector moved from one to the other. Still no indication of
line in signal being seen.
This problem started today after the computer's OS (XP) received an
automatic program "upgrade". Haven't done a restore prior to the upgrade.
The sound cards' wave input is working okay from the computer.
Tried other amateur S/W programs that have been working, Writelog, MixW2
and MMTTY, and signal coming into the line in input isn't seen by any of
the S/W programs.
Thunderstorms have not been in the area for several weeks,
Any ideas of where to look for a solution?
