EXTFSK is not necessary with microKEYER, Digikeyer, microKEYER II,
Digikeyer II, micro2R, or MK2R/MK2R+ ... they all provide UART based
interfaces. USB Interface II and USB Interface III require EXTFSK
as they are not based on a separate microcontroller.

Example configurations for MMTTY with each interface is available
via "Help | Download Documents" in Router or may be viewed/downloaded
on-line at www.microHAM-USA.com/Support.html.
