Unfortunately there were too many instances of 17 meter cards
being modified and submitted as 160 Meter cards. The Awards
Committee remains unconvinced that the field checkers have
the ability to detect such forgeries. Although it can be a
pain, it is nice to know that reasonable care is being used
to insure some integrity is being maintained on Topband.
