Back-peddling alert! :-) After K1MK's comment that
160 operation is nothing new in TARA since 2006, I looked
up last year's top category scores claimed on 3830:
W4ZE - 782 Qs total, 0 on 160 (MS-HP)
K4GMH - 750 Qs total, 0 on 160 (SO-HP)
VY2SS - 431 Qs total, 0 on 160 (SO-LP)
To repeat K1MK's quote (from K5ZD about SS I recall):
"If you're on 160, then you're losing the contest." To do
so during a major 160 contest is even more ludicrous. I'll
be anxiously awaiting some big 160 totals from W6WRT in TARA.
