The SO1R category will become the de facto "Single Operator" category and anyone using SOmR for any reason will be exiled to the smaller (presumably less recognized) category - something akin to "160 Meter single band" in CQWW. The proposal assumes that anyone using SOmR for any reason receives an advantage equivalent to receiving operating assistance from another person and that's far from the case. The only reason for a proposal like this is the believe that SOmR is so bad that those who use it cannot be considered in the larger society of single operator contesters. This "medicine" is worse than the "disease" it claims to cure. 73, ...
