Actually, it seems to me that the vast majority of RTTY operators...and even
PSK ops have gotten much better in the last couple of years.

There will always be a few boneheads, but we know how to deal with them...

I wrote down about 3 calls during the contest that did really stupid or
extremely rude things (1 dx and 2 stateside...all with relatively new
callsigns)and there were probably another dozen or so doing the more casual
things like answering a CQ with a full exchange.  The rest seemed to be
right with the program.

We are getting some less than gentlemanly operators.

I observed a nasty exchange due to two qso's being on the same frequency.
One of the stations called another an idiot.
When he was questioned and suggested that he behave.
The nasty challenged him to fight.

Maybe it TOO EASY to become a rtty operator now.
