I just bought one from WMR and asked about it when I ordered.
As it turns out the USB model ships with a USB to Serial adapter cable and
the RIGBlaster is still a serial device so you need to use both the little
adapter (about a foot long) and the supplied serial cable.
WMR explained that they have tested the USB model with several Windows based
logging programs, Writelog was probably the most notable that they said they
had tested with. The main advice they offered was that you need to be aware
that the USB adapter will appear as the next available COM port above the
available serial ports you have. They said that once you have the COM port
number set correctly in your config for your logging that it should be
otherwise business as usual.
Setting mine up now, maybe I can give more advice shortly.
