Wow! I'm not alone!
I also suggest, the DXBase 5.0 is what a logging program should be, and
still use it! My usual machine being P-III 850 MHz rinnung Windows98 can
still support it as a logger, though the machine is too fast to support the
PC interfacing.
Actually any logging program uses his own prefix database or another tool
for determination of a country out of a call. Trying various loggers I never
managed to get the same band/mode statistics having imported QSOs data. So
far my DXBase 5.0 is adjusted for all possible unique calls/prefixes and
maintains all my records precisely.

For me all the later DXBase's (like 2004 etc) turned to be first of all a
packet cluster/telnet interface, and then a logging program. Therefore I did
not go for them. Maybe I will, when hardware forces me for that.
