Don,
I am a bit sleepy here this morning. I just read the entire entertaining story
and did not realize that you were at the bottom of all this until I got to the
end. Thanks for telling it. I always like a good story with a happy ending.
Don, every radio needs it's own tower to be fair to the radio.
You mean that in the very near future we will have to listen to an even bigger
signal from AA5AU in RTTY contests. I guess I will have to start using the
attenuator whenever I copy you.
BTW: I did not copy you as M/N2FF in the ARRL RTTY Roundup in January when I
operated from southeast England. In fact I heard only some of the east cost
guys and worked only a very few of them. I had a High Sierra mobile whip
mounted on my grand daughters swing set using radials. I think I was lucky
that I was less than a quarter mile from the sea.
