Our club, the Wheaton Community Radio Amateurs (call W9CCU), typically runs
anywhere from 8A to 11A, and although the idea of a RTTY station has been
floated
a couple of times, the feeling seemed to be that there weren't enough points to
be
had to make it worth the effort of finding another station captain, rig, tent,
antenna,
filters, etc.

Not that I wouldn't like to see RTTY, but I always run the satellite station
(and
sometimes VHF/UHF), so someone else will have to pick up the RTTY torch......

(Power is no problem though: our truck has a 15 kW generator, a couple of guys
bring their own portable ones, and I had virtually zero voltage drop at 175
wire-feet
from the truck... :-) )
