I just picked up this message on the thread and didn't see where it originated
but the recording that I just played is most definitely power line noise. By
that I mean it's being generated by your power electrical utility outside of
your home. If you want to call me for further information or instructions or
points to ponder just give me a call if I don't answer your call please leave
your phone number. I'm on the phone a lot and traveling a lot. Best wishes

Yes, the RFI is related to the power grid, either in-house or somewhere
else. Therefore, don't spend more time identifying what is causing the
interference, but go looking for it. Any more sleithing as to what is a
waste of time and effort.

As broadband as it is, I doubt it's a switcher, but more like a discharge
on a line somewhere. But everything connected to the power grid is up for
grabs.
