Ok, sounds good, but like I said, I never heard of any of them except
the individual coil per chamber system. Actually the one about plastic
valve covers sounds like a step backwards for the average non-race
driver. Car makers have a long history of using cheap materials to save
a few pennies while later costing the owner major bucks. Been there,
done that.
Something that improves a race car is not necessarily good for the guy
motoring to work. Are the racers experimenting with fuel cells or pure
hydrogen power? Was the Prius a racing development? Those kinds of
technologies are the ones we civilians need, not something that puts 700
HP in the family sedan.
