Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2021 Jul 26 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity was at very low levels. Region 2847 (S28E07, Axx/alpha) and Region (N24W13, Cro/beta) were quiet and stable. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low with a slight chance for C-class flares on 26-28 Jul.
Energetic Particle
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was normal to moderate and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux maintained background values.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be normal to moderate and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to continue at background levels over 26-28 Jul.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters, as measured by the DSCOVR spacecraft, were at nominal. Total magnetic field strength was at or below 5 nT and no significant periods of southward Bz were observed. Solar wind speeds were between roughly 300-400 km/s. Phi angle was mostly positive.
Forecast: A nominal solar wind is expected through 27 Jul. Influence from a positive polarity CH HSS is possible beginning on 28 Jul.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.
Forecast: Mostly quiet levels are expected through 27 Jul. Unsettled to active levels are possible on 28 Jul due to anticipated interaction with a positive polarity CH HSS.
