Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2021 Jul 25 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity remained at low levels. A Type II radio sweep (263 km/s) was observed from an eruption around the now plage Region 2848 (N21, L=120). A B2 X-ray enhancement accompanied the event. Additional coronagraph imagery is needed to determine if an Earth-directed CME was produced. Region 2847 (S27E20, Axx/alpha) was quiet and stable. Region 2846 (N25E02, Cro/beta) was quiet and exhibited subtle changes around its leader spot.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low with a slight chance for C-class flares on 25-27 Jul.
Energetic Particle
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was normal to moderate and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux maintained background values.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be normal to moderate and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to continue at background levels over 25-27 Jul.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters were at nominal levels. Solar wind speeds were between ~300-370 km/s. Total magnetic field strength was between 2-6 nT and no significant periods of southward Bz were observed. Phi angle was predominantly oriented in the positive sector.
Forecast: A nominal solar wind is expected through 27 Jul.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.
Forecast: Mostly quiet levels are expected through 27 Jul.
