Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2021 Jul 19 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. B-class enhancements were observed from the E limb. Region 2842 (N27W35, Dso/beta) exhibited minor changes while Region 2845 (S15W27, Cro) was in decay. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is likely to remain very low with a slight chance for C-class flares on 19-21 Jul.

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at normal to moderate levels. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background values.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to continue at normal to moderate levels 19-21 Jul. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to remain at background.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters, as measured by the DSCOVR spacecraft, reflected mostly nominal conditions. Total magnetic field strength was between 3-7 nT and no significant periods of southward Bz were observed. Solar wind speeds were between ~370-410 km/s. Phi angle transitioned from the negative sector to positive after 19/0600 UTC.

Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to remain at nominal levels through 20 Jul. A slight enhancement is possible on 21 Jul due to a potential connection with a positive polarity CH HSS.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet to unsettled.

Forecast: Quiet conditions are expected through 20 Jul. Quiet to unsettled levels are likely on 21 Jul due to weak CH HSS influences.
