Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2020 Dec 04 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was at low levels. Regions 2786 and 2785 were stable and quiet. Region 2790 (S23E30, Cao/beta) produced a C1.4 flare, the largest of the period. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is anticipated to be at low levels with a chance for C-class flares 04-06 Dec.

Energetic Particles

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux briefly reached high levels today (1130 pfu at 02/1430 UTC) before returning to moderate levels. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux was slightly enhanced from the southeast limb event on 29 Nov but remained below the 10 pfu threshold.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at mostly moderate levels through 06 Dec. The 10 MeV proton flux is expected to be at normal levels.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: The solar wind environment was characteristic of very low densities. Accordingly sampling of the solar wind speed at L1 has been less reliable. The solar wind is estimated to be between 300 and 400 km/s, which is typical of a quiet IMF. Total magnetic field strength and Bz were also typical of quiet IMF. Phi was negative.

Forecast: Background solar wind conditions are expected through 06 Dec.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was at quiet levels.

Forecast: Quiet levels are forecast through 06 Dec.
