Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2020 Feb 04 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low under a spotless visible disk. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be at very low levels on 04-06 Feb.

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at normal to moderate levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at background levels.

Forecast: Normal to moderate electron flux levels are expected to persist through 06 Feb while proton flux is expected to continue at background levels.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters were near nominal levels. Solar wind speed ranged between 350-375 km/s, total field was 2-5 nT, and the Bz component varied between +/- 4 nT. Phi angle became positive at approximately 04/0555 UTC.

Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to be near nominal levels through 05 Feb. On 06 Feb, a negative polarity CH HSS is expected to move into a geoeffective position causing weak enhancements in the solar wind environment.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet to unsettled.

Forecast: Mostly quiet levels are expected through 05 Feb with isolated unsettled periods possible. By 06 Feb, a negative polarity CH HSS is expected to move into a geoeffective position, increasing geomagnetic conditions to unsettled with isolated active periods likely.
