A new sunspot group #10984 formed on March 3, 2008 at location S05 E12 and
was numbered on March 6, 2008 at location S05 W69. It has a beta magnetic
signature. The SWPC sunspot number (SSN) is now 13. Prior to this SSN count
we went 5consecutive days without any.
Unfortunately though like Sunspot group #10983, with it's low latitude and
magnetic polarity it's a lowly solar cycle 23 sunspot group that is now
setting around the west limb of the Sun.
