The post may have been mine? I use STG to graph SNMP. I have some screen
shots of the graphs weird activity due to the IP Freeze. As far as I know
the biggest issue seen with IP Freeze is with the Base Unites and their
polling algorithm causing the lockups. Though CPE retransmit are a factor as
well, you want to try and clean the retransmits up by denying protocols,
lowering transmit rates etc. This along with 4.46 will clean up the network.
I have even seen a few hiccups with minor IP Freeze's which is livable
compared to the issues we were seeing 1st hand in our graphs.
If anyone has an FTP site handy I will post the screen shots of the graphs a
long with an informal write up of the IP freeze issue.
