I am having trouble getting a new flashrom system running to load the
software on it. Help? I have 2 Flashrom modules, 2 NIC's with ROM chip. Installed each in VIA socket 7 motherboard. Installed ISA video card Boot units. Units test mem, report no IDE found. Units display POST summary screen including the stats on the NIC. Units then report DISK BOOT ERROR. INSERT DISK AND STRIKE ANY KEY. Standard disk boot error message...... I thought that they started running from the ROM on the NIC. All the LED's on the flashrom module are lit and stay lit. What am I doing wrong? I have other flashrom units working on the same hardware. But, it's been so long since I built one, I think I may be making one of those dumb errors....
