Indeed, it is second hand information at best.  
Although if I never have to go back to the site, and the customer can pull 8 
meg of bandwidth, I don't mind running 2 cables.

Ha - I heard that story back in February 2003 when I visited their office in 
Milipitas.  Makes you wonder...
