All, the following upgrades are in effect for the Lucent/Orinoco and AVAYA
ROR and COR products. These upgrades are available from KarlNet OEM's and
resellers:
For ROR (AP1000) products : purchase SAU-4300= $70.00 US list
For COR (AP1000) products : purchase SAU-4400= $140.00 US list
The upgrades are currently available for AP-1000 PRODUCTS ONLY. The license
generated will be for v4.xx bin files Hermes I and II.Resellers, please
contact Orders@karlnet.com with any questions. I apologize for not
addressing this issue before release date 5/17/2004, we were wanting to
provide both Hermes I and II radio support.Please see release notes

Is there a plan, thoughts, or anything resembling it to offer some kind of
upgrade plan to those of us who actually do own and operate a bunch of
Lucent OR gear to the latest KN release?
I've asked the question before, and got no response at all. Evidently,
I'm not the only one looking for an answer to wether there will be some
kind of upgrade path out of Proxim's legacy Lucent gear.
Anyone else out there wanting/wishing/waiting for some kind of upgrade
path as well?
