Michael, version 4.44x of our code supports auto scanning for Turbocell
satellite builds.The Phase Phrase has to be the same for both base stations
and the frequency and Net ID MUST BE THE SAME ON EACH INDIVIDUAL BASE. Using
the example below , a satellite with a pass phrase=test, and auto scanning
enabled would scan and connect to either base depending on signal strength.
example base #1_ pass phrase=test_frequency =1_net id =1, base#2_pass
phrase=test_frequency=8_net id=8.
Thanks
Reg

Subject: [Karlnet] Roaming
Does TC support roaming? Roaming in the sense of, if I had two base
stations and I have a mobile client that could connect to either one of the
base stations depending if it had LOS?
I know with 802.11b clients, clients will connect to the nearest access
point (the access point with the best signal) and when the client moves out
of range it will reconnect to another access point. Can this be done with
TC?
Thank you.
