The "band lockup" problem is a bug in the software, plain and simple. I
have seen no activity from K1EA that would indicate the problem has been
looked at or fixed.
I would suggest that people use 9.37b for FD unless there is an
announcement that a FD fix for 9.39 is available (and then, use it at your
own risk). If you are using a CT control of the radio frequency, make sure
to try out 9.37b with your radio BEFORE Field Day. Don't ASSUME that it
will work. ICOM radios have been pretty problematic with the later
versions of CT.
