My DVP has started doing this within the last year or so.
First, I noticed that after exiting CT, then re-starting, the recorded Fn
messages would be very distorted or have the white noise overlayed on the
audio. Re-recording the messages would relieve the problem.
In CQWW, I noticed that the white noise effect was happening without the
shutdown/start cycle. Exiting CT and re-recording still works at this point.
I am using IBM PC-DOS 7.0 and a RAM disk for the audio. Pentium-100 and
minimum other stuff in a dedicated ham computer. CT 9.37 and 9.36.
