An in-band station is a second or a third station on the same band as your
runnig station.
These are used to call multipliers or other stations that are not calling
your CQing station.
These stations are interlocked between them by means of hardware devices,
or hardware and software to prevent multiple transmissions at the same time
on the same band.
All the top Multi-Multi, Multi-Two and Multi-Single have been using this
approach for decades.
