Sprint time changes The actual goal of moving an hour earlier is to reduce the
West "advantage". In the last few years, 20m has only been open in the Eastern
USA for a short time after the start. This reduces it to a two band contest
for half the country. They guys out West, being 2-3 hours behind in daylight
time, had more time to make QSOs on 20, while not really impacting their QSO
totals on 40 and 80.The hope is that by starting an hour early, everyone will
get more time on 3 bands. This may not solve everything, but it should make
