[Ed W0YK] Same rationale. Europe has far more QSO points (as well as mults) available in a comparable geographic area to VE/US. EU countries are similar in size to US states and VE areas. "Growing up" has nothing to do with it. All contests don't have to have the same rules. There is a wide diversity of contests for each of us to choose the ones we enjoy.
