Speaking of Vintage Rigs,,
Is there a site maybe that you can actually look up a manufactured date
of a rig?
like Choose Drake TR-4 serial # XXXXXX and it gives you a date? or at
least a Date window?

Maybe the check could be the vintage of the rig in use. Sounds like fun.

For those of you who do SS,
Would you be interested in participating in an SS-like contest (same
exchange/mults),
but over a 12-hour period, but only using Vintage gear?
We had an interesting discussion about this on Facebook.
Vintage meaning old, of course
- No computer-controlled radio or keying (logging if you wish).
- Keyers fine, but no memories (W9TO, etc)
- Hopefully radios that glow, homebrew, etc.
- Bugs encouraged
If enough people are interested, I'll find a time to squeeze it in
somewhere.
