Tired of all the rule change talk. Let's do more contesting and less of ,
well, the rest! Got to get my Writelog set up and get ready for a real
contest! See you this evening in the CQWPX! Lotsa rate in this one. I don't
have the stamina to be competitive so I have set a goal of 100 Qs per band.
Hope to find some propagation on 10 and 160.

Seriously Jim, the only thing that a mountain top does is change the angle
of radiation and possibly allow for an unobstructed path. It is easily
possible to be too high.

Not taking anything away from his operating skills, but his station is on a
6,900 ft mountaintop. That has the practical effect of moving him at least
1,500 miles closer to wherever he's pointing his antennas.
