major contests I work all callers. It's not
my responsibility, either as a casual or serious
entrant, to identify pirates. That's a matter
for the contest sponsors, and they can dock points
and mults as they please.

I didn't imply any of that. Those are Steve's words
and his assumption is misplaced. I don't have a
solution to the Crimea issue - but neither has
anyone else. In the meantime I work all callers.
As I suggested already, we need a bit of expediency
and a bit of neutrality. Otherwise, a logical
progression would be to boycott calls from any
country that ever went to war, or from any territory
that was ever disputed.
What's the point of prolonging this thread? It
serves only to confirm that contesting and politics
don't mix.
