Distance is complicated and requires extra programming, how about the maidenhead grid squares as in my case EN I am EN43xo to be exact

Any contact I make with another EN is 1 point
With any square that touches EN is 2 points
all others are three points

Yes?

In regard to this remark, wich is true.
What about changing scores on HF Contests based on distance (we have the WW Locator system) rather then just on continents/countries.

The main scoring now for HF contests is mainly based on the DXCC list. This list is in the majority of contests used as the multiplier list. But is this realy fair, regarding that the USA is counted as one country, UA9/0 also. The distances in these regions have also a reflections on the possible contacts on certain bands.

Sri guys, I just a just throw a stick in a pool.
Wondering what might come out of it.

73 cu on on the air
