Hi Andy, That ?actually? probably means your transmitter. I can´t send send anything higher then 2.4kHz and lower then 130Hz with my Icom IC-740. But I could transmit a 2.7kHz band width by using my Flexradio if I transmit TXFreq+30Hz to TxFreq+2730Hz. 73 Peter _____ From: Andy Cunningham [mailto:andycwb@gmail.com] Actually, the side band is about TxFreq+300Hz to TxFreq +3000Hz, so the safe limit is 14.347. Above that and the upper side band will be above 14.350.
