<CQ can't inspect my station, I have philosophical objections to >that, so
I'm "pre-disqualified". There might be other stations >and Ops who feel the
same way.
Lets look at the rule...."A competitor who wishes to be judged for a top
score in their category must agree to a potential visitation..." I'd
venture to say more than 99% of us have nothing to worry about. It's
business as usual so let's not blow this out of proportion. Those who have
not read NS3T's excellent reporting on the CQWW DQ's that have lead to this
change should do so (http://www.radio-sport.net/). It puts this issue into
perspective.
This is clearly aimed at a few high profile operators who don't give a damn
about sportsmanship and will do almost anything to "win." Having this tool
at the committee's disposal will hopefully cause those few to begin
respecting our sport or go off and do something else.
