Hi Tor,

Sorry to disagree, but I think you're wrong.

If you park a second receiver on another band and listen to it, YOU are
doing the listening.

Anytime YOU are doing something, it's not assistance.

Skimmer is not you.

Bogus argument.

If I park a 2nd receiver on another band while calling cq on band #1
(standard
SO2R) that clearly gives me  "DX alerting assistance" of  another kind as
well. 

They clearly mean from other operators.
