I am using Kenwood TS-570DG as a second radio and for DXpeditions. Never had
a problem, this Radio is a Tank.
Two other companies are aggressive: they even taking older Kenwood radios
numbers for their own use... Looks like they pushing out Knwood from HF
market...
Look: Used to be Kenwood TS-450 now is Yaesu FT-450, used to be Kenwood
TS-950 now is Yaesu FT-950. And more to come.
I spoke to Kenwood people twice in Dayton 2006 and 2007- where are the new
models?
I was told that they have some new HF models but they have issues with FCC,
something like that...
