A little food for thought... Audio clarity "Live" vs. Recorded.
I've been Recording and streaming the audio "live" since it was
possible (90s)........
We have available technology that allows audio levels and filtering
of all sorts
(i) to your headset
(ii) being recorded / streamed to the public
My experiences have proven various; after some contests the audio was
recorded poorly, and after others where I'm hearing callers clearly
that I'm not seeming to work - throughout the entire test!
It's just like that feeling when your best running back is wide open
and you don't see him!
My public audio is the same as what's in the cans. What's the problem?
Lesson learned: USE NOISE CANCELLING HEADSETS. Those pesky fans in
the shack can drown out certain pitches / audio levels.
For $10 you can be Live audio streaming to the world.
