I admit I don't get this whole discussion and the hubbub it's causing. It seems kind of silly. I log the call and exchange I copy, send in my log within a week or two, and then wait for the results. It seems to work pretty well. You're wasting your time if you're worrying about the possibility of losing a QSO or two. That time would be better spent on station improvements or strategy planning for the next contest.
