     FWIW, the Central Texas DX & Contest Club is in something of a 
similar situation.  Most of the membership is in South Texas (STX), but we
have several active contesters living in the southern parts of North
Texas (NTX) section, and there's no way a 175 mile or 275 km radius circle 
will encompass all of our Texas members:
