No argument. The question I think that needs to be asked is: Should
there be a limitation of any type on SO#R? If there should, how do you
define it and control it?
Perhaps a simple dueling CQ is OK. But how much technology assistance
is really appropriate in a single operator unassisted category? I
think that whether or not that assistance is provided from another
human or from a computer, where does the line get drawn?
Is computer CW copying on the second radio OK so the single operator
doesn't actually have to listen? I think questions like this need to
be asked and given thought.
Current single op RTTY contesting certainly pushes the limit too.
